Problem : Continuous level measurement of the molten metal inside a torpedo-paddle at one of the most prestigious Steel Plants in India
Hypothesis : High Temperature of the molten metal to the tune of 1200 Degree C creates problems due to low reflectivity and harsh measuring conditions.
Solution : EIP launched its 94 / 135 GHz Radar Level Transmitter through association with M/s Limaco, Russia and installed the same in the application. With world’s highest frequency, narrow beam angle (1.3 Degree) and high intensity beam covered with the most advanced echo analysis algorithm till date, solution was found for the most typical level measurement application.
