Our Nuclear Density and Level Meters, using Na-22/ Eu-152 as the source, are exempt from Atomic Energy Board approval because their radioactivity is below 1 MBq (0.027 mCurie). With our patented high-resolution detector and unique algorithm, you can accurately measure at this low radioactivity—something that you won’t get anywhere else. The instrument provides direct readings, eliminating the need for regular audit reports. Moreover, it requires no specialized training for installation and troubleshooting.

How It Works

It measures gamma radiation emitted by a source, which is detected by a scintillator that converts it into flashes of light. The number of flashes is inversely related to the density of the material. That means a material with higher density absorbs more radiation, leading to fewer flashes.

Because our devices are exempt by AERB for any approvals, that means:

– No radiation body approval is required

– No need for a RSO at the plant

– No need for quarterly health reports for the installed meters

They use gamma sources below IAEA’s minimum significant activity level, unlike traditional devices with powerful radionuclides. Our meters are easy to install, require no maintenance, and offer a “plug-and-forget” solution.
