Vibrating Fork | Rod Level Switch

Get quality, reliability, and value in one go!

Piezoelectric driven vibration level switch is a highly reliable device used to detect high, mid and low levels in vessels with powders and bulk solids. It helps ensure consistent material flow and prevents overflows or dry running of pumps. Ideal for use in various industries, this level switch provides accurate and real-time feedback on material levels, which means optimal system performance and less risk of damage to equipment..

How It Works

It operates on the basis of vibration. The electric signal excites the first piezo crystal, causing it to expand and contract rapidly. This makes the blades or rod vibrate at a specific frequency.

The blades are designed to use minimal energy while vibrating. The second piezo crystal monitors this vibration. When the blade comes into contact with the material, the vibration is dampened. The electronic circuit forces a relay to switch indicating a covered condition. When the blades are uncovered, the vibration will restart and the relay will indicate an uncovered condition.
