The SmartBob AO is equipped with a built-in 4-20 mA output and an integrated keypad, allowing for straightforward replacement of any existing 4-20 device. Installation is simple; the SmartBob can be mounted on top of the bin and connected to the existing 4-20 input. Upon taking a measurement, it automatically transmits updated measurement data to a PLC. It can be programmed to perform measurements at predetermined intervals using an internal timer, or an external start input can be utilized for immediate readings. In addition to that, the device includes two configurable relay outputs to notify users of measurement status or to signal high, low, or error alarms
